Samsung QN83S90FAE 83" OLED 4K S90F Vision AI Smart TV (2025) lights each pixel separately for deep contrast, while OLED HDR+ lifts brightness for a vivid picture. Its NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor upgrades less detailed video to 4K, so movies and TV shows look sharper. Sports and games look fluid on a screen that refreshes 120 times a second, and PC games can go up to 144. The S90F's LaserSlim design keeps the TV under two inches deep, for a clean look on the wall or on its center stand. Dolby Atmos adds a sense of height to the sound from the TV's own speakers.
Specifications
OLED HDR+
Each pixel in the OLED screen makes its own light, so bright and dark areas can sit side by side with strong contrast. OLED HDR+ looks at every scene and adjusts brightness to match. It also supports HDR10+, which fine-tunes brightness moment to moment in shows and movies made with it.
NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor
The NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor runs the TV's AI picture features, including AI Customization Mode, which uses the picture choices you make during setup to adjust each show to your taste.
4K AI Upscaling Pro
4K AI Upscaling Pro uses AI to bring shows, movies and games made in lower resolutions up to 4K, for a sharper picture. How sharp it gets depends on the quality of the original video.
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz makes fast action look smooth and games feel responsive. With a console or PC that supports it, variable refresh rate and FreeSync Premium Pro keep the screen in step with the console or PC, so the picture doesn't split mid-game. A PC with a compatible graphics card can play in 4K at up to 144Hz on any of the four HDMI ports.
AI Motion Enhancer Pro
AI Motion Enhancer Pro helps keep fast-moving balls and on-screen text sharp and steady, so play is easy to follow and scores and stats stay readable.
Pantone Validated Color
The screen's colors are validated by Pantone, which means any difference from Pantone's reference colors is too small for the eye to notice. Color Booster Pro also brings out more vivid color scene by scene.
Auto HDR Remastering
Auto HDR Remastering takes regular video that wasn't made in HDR, the format with a wider range of brightness and color, and reworks it for a picture closer to HDR.
Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite
Dolby Atmos plays through the TV's 40-watt speakers, which include a dedicated bass channel. Object Tracking Sound Lite makes sound seem to come from above and move with what is on screen. Q-Symphony lets a compatible Samsung soundbar, sold separately, play together with the TV speakers.
Active Voice Amplifier Pro and Adaptive Sound Pro
Active Voice Amplifier Pro separates dialogue from music and background sound, so voices are easier to hear. Adaptive Sound Pro tunes the sound to the room and to the kind of content playing.
LaserSlim Design
The LaserSlim design is 1.8 inches deep, with thin borders on all four sides. On a table, it sits on a single Space Titan center stand that is 14.4 inches wide.
Samsung Gaming Hub
Samsung Gaming Hub gathers games from apps, consoles and streaming services in one place, including Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce Now and Luna. AI Auto Game Mode detects the type of game and adjusts the settings to suit it, and Game Bar shows game info on screen while you play. Streamed games need high-speed internet, a subscription and a compatible controller.
Samsung TV Plus on One UI Tizen
One UI Tizen puts your streaming apps on one home screen, and Samsung TV Plus adds free live channels and on-demand movies and shows with no subscription. Like other streaming services, it needs an internet connection and a Samsung Account.
Bixby, Alexa and SmartThings
Bixby and Amazon Alexa are built in, and microphones in the TV pick up your voice without the remote. The TV doubles as a SmartThings hub, so compatible smart home devices link to it and you can control them from the screen.
SolarCell Remote
The SolarCell remote recharges from light when it rests with its solar panel facing up. If its battery ever runs completely empty, you can charge it through its USB-C port.
