Pure Direct routes audio around the tone and balance circuitry and shuts off the display panel to suppress the noise it generates, leaving the shortest, quietest route from source to speaker. Bass and treble controls are bypassed while it is active, which is exactly the point.
Phono Volume Offset
Moving-magnet cartridges vary in output, and a quiet one leaves vinyl sounding weak against everything else you play. Phono Volume Offset lifts the phono input by up to 6 dB in 1 dB steps, so records sit at the same level as Bluetooth and your line sources. Set it once and stop reaching for the volume knob every time you drop the needle.
Headphones, Aux In and a Remote
A full-size quarter-inch gold-plated headphone jack sits on the front panel, so proper headphones plug in without an adapter. Beside it, a 3.5 mm auxiliary input takes a phone or portable player on the fly. The supplied remote handles source selection, volume, tuning, tone and sleep, with tactile dots on the key buttons for use in the dark.
A Chassis Built to Stay Still
